For years, Google keeps users have been request For a simple but essential feature, and it seems that their pleadings are finally answered. We have found solid evidence suggesting that the Google note taking will soon give users the possibility of looking in a single note. As crazy as it may seem, Google Keep does not support research in the notes at the moment. Although the existing research function of the application works well to find content on all notes, this does not help much when you try to locate something specific in a particularly long or detailed note.

By searching version 5.25.282.00.90 of the Google Keep Android application, we discovered a new functionality “search in the note”. With a few efforts, we were able to surface the new option inside individual notes in Google Keep. The functionality is accessible by pressing the three -point menu in the lower right corner of any note. The new search option “searching for the note” is listed directly at the top of the other note actions such as “delete”, “make a copy”, “send” and more.
Unfortunately, the functionality is not yet fully functional. Tapping of the option currently causes a plan of the application, which suggests that it is still in the early stages of development or tests.
However, this is a promising step for Google Keep, in particular for users who rely on long content, control lists and detailed notes. A similar feature is already available on the apple default notes application for iPhones. The Samsung notes application also supports research in a single note, including handwritten notes, which is a nice touch.
