Google photos deploying a new “Create” tab on Android, iOS

After simplifying three elements in the lower bar earlier this year, Google Photos is deploying a new “Create” tab.

As announced last month, Google Photos wishes to provide a location to access various “creation tools”. Appearing between collections and research / research, Create has a brush icon.

Currently, Google uses the first location to highlight the photo on video. The Your Tools lists:

  • Entertainment: A quick moving gif of selected photos and videos.
  • Cinematographic photos: A 3D effect added to the photos.
  • Collage: Combine several photos in an elegant provision.
  • Highlight videos: A video with music that uses photos and videos.
  • Video: Animate your photo and transform static moments into a dynamic video clips of six seconds.
  • Remix: Transform your photos into different styles as “anime”. [This is still rolling out.]

All square cards have examples and are a little busy because they play at the same time. It brings up the point, but this flow is a little eventful, especially with the superior animation.

Then there is a carousel of 16 different collage models, while the last section allows you to make a highlight video, with Google listing people, places and activities to revive the process.

With this addition, the “plus” menu in the upper right corner (next to the notification bell and the profile account) remains available. This “new” list is mainly to make a new album and the printed store, while there are shortcuts for sharing and import partners from other sources. However, he lists the collage, the highlighting video, the film photo, the animation and the photo to the video for a certain amount of duplication.

We see the tab Create the Google Photos tab unroll With version 7.40 on Android. It is not yet widely available.
