Google’s telephone application can finally obtain a highly requested feature

What you need to know

  • User reports suggest that Google is starting to move forward with the recording of native calls in its telephone application on Pixel phones.
  • A user with a Pixel 9a has spotted the recording of calls appear, but others with a Pixel 8A and a Pixel 10 have not seen it.
  • Google’s assistance page for calling for calls has been updated, and it now indicates that the functionality works on Pixel 6 and more recent models.

Google could have a response for the long -awaited call recording function on its phones, but its availability is incredibly sparse.

Recently, this week, a user on the Pixelusersindia sub-program published a screenshot a “call recording” setting on their phone (via Android authority). The parameter, captured on a 9a pixel, displays a flooded option for calling for calls, registration management and automatic call recording options. For the latter, the user notes the possibility of having their pixel “automatically record calls with non-contacts”, or he can write in which figures they would like his device to record.
