XAI has launched a new vocal mode for its Grok chatbot, presenting a functionality called Grok Vision which allows users to interact with the world via their camera for smartphone. Like Chatgpt and Google Gemini, Grok can now interpret what your phone sees and answer in real time.

Using Grok Vision, iPhone users can point their camera on an object and ask “What am I looking at?” – And the chatbot will respond aloud with a contextual response. The feature is now available on the Grok iOS application, but Android users will have to wait a little longer for access.

In addition to visual recognition, voice mode now supports multilingual audio, allowing users to converse with Grok in several languages. Real -time research is also integrated, giving the chatbot the possibility of providing instant answers that reflect the latest information.

Improvements follow the deployment of the new Grok memory function last week, which allows the chatbot to recall past interactions – including user preferences and previously asked questions – to provide more personalized answers and suggestions.

XAI also recently published the first version of Studio, providing a workspace to generate documents and code, similar to the Chatgpt Web. Studio opens in a separate window and is designed to give users a more targeted environment for content creation.
