Tl; DR
- Google works on an expressive overhaul of material 3 for the parameters of the GBOARD application.
- The redesign has a card style user interface and a menu of parameters rearranged with new descriptions.
GBOARD is one of those applications that I cannot live in, so much so that I even install it on my iPhones (which seems blasphemous, but it works very well). On Android phones, Google works to provide an expressive overhaul of Materials 3 for GBORD settings, so you can enjoy a consistent and refreshed experience each time you need to configure the keyboard application.

GBORD V15.7.3 BETA includes code for expressive updating of materials 3 for application settings. We have managed to activate the overcoming overhaul to give you an early look:
Just as we have seen with various other Google applications, the Gboard settings menu with all the heart of the Card Style User Interface.
We could not activate the new expressive overhaul on Android Canary and Android 16 QPR1 BETA 3. Authorize the overhaul on the outside on the Android 15 versions caused by GBORD, you may therefore have to be on the latest Android 16 version to take advantage of the overhaul each time it deploys.
The eagle eyes readers will also note that several parameters have been rearranged and that their descriptions have changed. We had to activate this change outside, so be on the lookout for deployment in the future.
