Honor Play10 unveiled with Android Go, Extensible storage and 3.5 mm socket

Honor has just unveiled an entry -level smartphone nicknamed The Honor Play10. Unlike the game series models, including the play10c a month ago, it is a 4G phone only – and it runs Android Go Edition.

This model is powered by the Helio G81. It is available in two configurations – 3/64 GB and 4/128 GB. Now, 4 GB would be quite tight, but we have seen phones with so much RAM running Android complete instead of Go Edition (including the Play10C). Anyway, at least it is better than the play9a, which used the Helio G36. In addition, storage is expandable via microSD cards up to 1 TB.

The Play10 is equipped with a 6.74 -inch screen, an LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pix.

The telephone extends over a 5,000 mAh battery which is hampered by the basic USB-C 2.0 port, which only manages the load of 10 W.

The telephone has basic input protection (IP52) and measures 167.7 x 77.7 x 8.55 mm and weighs 189 g. It is available in Ocean Cyan, Starry Purple and Midnight Black.

In addition to the microSD niche, you may be happy to learn that the Play10 also has a 3.5 mm helmet socket and that it has an FM radio receiver. A fingerprint reader is on board, but there is no NFC support. Wi-Fi 5 (AC) and Bluetooth 5.1 are supported.

We have not yet seen the price of honor Play10, but we imagine that in the most common case, it will be a type of “free” contract.
