Apple made its debut on its new design language for iOS 26, nicknamed Liquid Glass, with a mixed reception in June. While some people appreciated the new transparent icons and light refraction effects, others – including Android authorityRobert Triggs – criticized him as an “accessibility nightmare”.
But that did not prevent many Android users from trying to imitate new design on their own smartphones. And thanks to the Android customization features and the possibility of choosing another launcher, it is possible to bring your Android plus phone to iOS 26.

The easiest way to get an iOS look on Android

You can make Android iOS look like a personalized launcher, which is the fastest way to change the design of your user interface. There are many launchers on the theme of iOS available for free, many being updated for the latest version of iOS, which is currently in beta.
I was able to quickly change the appearance of My Honor 400 Pro using IOS 26 launcherA popular and free launcher with more than 10 million downloads.
To regularly define a launcher as your new default user interface, go to Settings> Default applications> Home application And go to the launcher you want to use. The exact steps depend on the Android skin you use, but they follow a similar flow.
When I used the iOS 26 launcher, it was able to change my wallpaper, some application icons, and create a folder and widget screens when I parade to the right or left of my default screen. In the Launcher application, you can further customize the settings.
Using an additional control center application, the launcher is also able to simulate the creation of a new iOS type configuration panel – but that does not replace the default configuration panel included in the operating system of your phone.
How to get the iOS 26 liquid glass look on Android

Although a launcher is the fastest way to get the iOS 26 look on Android, many of these launchers do not have the transparent appearance of integrated liquid glass. If you are more concentrated on access to liquid glass inspiration widgets, you can use a pack as iOS GLASS KWGT iOS 26 Inspired. The pack of $ 0.99 forces you to buy too KWGT KUSTOM WIDGET PROThis costs an additional $ 5.99. Among the methods I have tried, it is one of the best ways to get inspiration widgets iOS 26 on your screen, but they are forced by the size of the KWGT Kustom widget that the widget, which on my device was a 4 × 4 widget.
You start by installing a KWGT widget on your home screen, then click on it to add a model from your widget, in this case, iOS Glass. There is a variety of widgets to choose, but I went with the one who included application icons and my music player, as well as the date and time. I then recorded this model so that it applies to the KWGT widget.
By combining the iOS 26 launcher with the glass widget pack in the Kustom widget, you can get some of the transparent widgets of iOS 26 with the launcher’s Apple type interface. However, I could not obtain transparent application icons, because the different icons packs that I used with Nova Launcher did not resemble the screenshot of the Play Store.
But prepare for a little troubleshooting. KWGT buttons do not always work in widgets, especially if the button is mapped on an application that you have not installed. He will also need different authorizations depending on the function you want the widget to perform.
What you need to keep in mind when trying to make your Android look like iOS 26
As much as I tried to reproduce the liquid glass user interface on Android, each solution has its limits. IOS 26 launcher is flooded with ads, which means you have to look at an ad for each parameter that you must modify. Meanwhile, the different packs I tried were based on a launcher or widget tool – adding additional barriers to obtaining the look you want.
If you try to make your Android device look like iOS 26, there will be limits. Among the different solutions that I tried, none could really get the light refraction effects that many people appreciate in the liquid glass.
I also found that the screenshots of the icon packs did not always look like the end result, which led me to uninstall or reimburse most of them. If you are not careful, you will eventually get an imitation of inexpensive liquid glass that just doesn’t look good.
Personally, I will never go from Android to iOS. Although I want Android to have had some of the accessibility features of which iOS A, I do not think that making any translucent is the way to follow. But hey, Android’s beauty is that it provides the user with a choice, so you can always choose to imitate iOS 26, even if I do not recommend it personally.
