There are some brands that have carved out a niche for themselves, and Oukitel is one of them. The company creates telephones and tablets sufficiently robust to resist the more rough side of work and game. They are built to last, and according to my experience, they do. However, most devices seem to be a phone and a transformer in part, so they are not for everyone.

But if you are in this thing, they are pretty cool – especially when they come with accessories. This is the case with the Oukitel WP300. This phone is not just an Android smartphone from an ordinary mid -range; It has a modular smartwatch component as well as an integrated earphone.
What?
It’s true, the WP300 has a pop-out smartwatch module and a very brilliant pop-out light module that seconds like a Bluetooth earpiece. Certainly a unique device. Is it cool, but is it worth $ 500? Discover.
Take the phone module out and in the watch group, and you are ready to go.

My experience
I am used to reviewing the Oukitel phones, so shooting a phone out of a box that weighs real books (instead of the ounces) does not bother me. It’s heavy, and there is no way to get around this.
At the same time, however, it’s pretty cool. As for most Android phones, the initial configuration was as simple as possible:
- Connect the phone to Wi-Fi
- Connect Android to my Google account
Due to the birthday, however, there are a few additional steps to take. For example, you must install the Adjustment Application so that the watch can synchronize with the phone.

I will warn you that the DA Fit app is full of ads, and he really wants you to pay an account. The announcements can be a little off-putting to the point where you may not even want to use it. And you don’t do it to have To – as without the application, the watch works – you will simply not see the data on your phone.
Regarding the use of the WP300, it is an Android, it is therefore easy to work with and customizable. I would say this: there are Bloatware. You will find the following non -standard applications:
- FM radio
- AI album
- System director
- Pedometer
- Tool indicator
- QRCode scan
By default, the WP300 does not make an application drawer by default, which always bothers me. Give us Android as it was supposed to be. Fortunately, you can activate the application drawer by pressing the home screen, pressing the settings, then activating “with an application drawer” for the “Home screen” option.
Of course, it’s just personal preferences.
What about performance?
Whenever you are dealing with a mid -range phone, you need to consider performance. You do not want to end up with an underlying phone that will make you regret for having bought it.
Keep in mind, however, that you do not buy Oukitel phones for performance, but rather their ability to resist the elements. These phones aim to take them to rock careers or other hard grounds, knowing that they can finish it.

That being said, the WP300 works well. Applications open quickly, websites make it as fast as on my Pixel 9 Pro, and animations are relatively smooth. Unlike many other mid -range phones that I have examined in the past, I have found very little “stuttering” or hiccups when lowering the notification shade, switching between applications or safeguarding an application. Everything is smooth.
I’m not saying that the WP300 works as well as a flagship phone, but I would put it against any other mid -range device and I would feel comfortable that it would keep it.
Allows you to talk about modules
There are two pop-out modules: the Watch / Bluetooth earpiece and the light. You can take out the intelligent watch by pressing the phone’s release button (at the lower edge of the module slit), then doing it on the watch strip. Light is removed in the same way. Once removed, put it in your ear for hands-free calls.
The back of the watch module reveals the Bluetooth module. Clever!

When the earphone is left in the phone, it doubles a second small screen, where you can run any application installed on the watch. Light is a separate module that does not make a double service. You light the light with the Camping Lights application, where you can use it as SOS, a very shiny flash, a complete light, a half-light or a quarter of light.
As the warning says, do not shine this light in someone’s eyes – it’s so shiny.
ZDNET purchase advice
Do I recommend this phone? It’s a bit delicate, but like most Oukitel phones, I can say this: if you need the most robust combined on the market (this will not cost you thousands of dollars), the Oukitel WP300 You will suit you well, just like most brand phones. If you need a phone that includes a modular smartwatch (and you don’t care about the brand’s recognition) and regularly needs a crazy headset or LED, then the WP300 is the phone for you.

It could be a heavy beast of a device, but it is part of its charm. He is tall, strong and robust like a lumberjack.
