Apple should unveil iOS 19, its new generation software update for iphonesDuring the World Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025, scheduled for June 9. According to Mark Gurman de Bloomberg, this version could mark the largest visual overhaul since iOS 7, the company would have inspired the design of Visionos, the operating system supplying the Vision Pro helmet.
The expected user interface changes include translucent menus, floating tab bars, rounded icons and new translucent buttons, all of all aimed at offering a more immersive and more dynamic user experience.
Siri to become smarter with Apple Intelligence
In addition to visual changes, iOS 19 is also to introduce major upgrades powered by AI. Apple’s vocal assistant, Siri, would receive more intelligent contextual suggestions, thanks to the integration of what is called Apple Intelligence internally.
The Health application is also likely to be improved, with a new AI personal coaching system. This feature should provide users with personalized fitness tips, follow-up of nutrition and video training sessions guided by experts, improving the Ecosystem of Apple’s well-being.
New features focused on security and communication
Confidentiality and messaging will also get a boost. According to the leaks, iOS 19 will bring an end -to -end encryption to the RCS messaging, which makes communication multiplatform – in particular with Android users – more secure. Apple had previously confirmed plans to support the RCS standard by 2025.
