iOS 26 adds several features to the integrated portfolio application on the iPhone, offering a new way to follow your online purchases, an update of boarding passes, and more. We have described everything that is new in the Wallet application below.
Orders monitoring
The ios 26 portfolio application offers improved orders, and you can now use it to follow all your purchases rather than those made using Apple Pay.
Apple Intelligence is used to locate controls related to the Mail application, then commands are swept through the Wallet application. The iphone can detect tracking numbers and order numbers, and update the condition of the packages when they place from the order to delivery.
The commands are accessible by pressing the “…” button in the Wallet app and pressing the order option. The functionality is opt-in, and you need a device capable of apple Intelligence to use it.
Apple says that command monitoring in the Wallet application is made available in beta, and it is not yet perfect. Some orders do not update properly and must be marked manually as complete, and others do not appear in the application.
Digital id
With ios 26, Apple Wallet will allow users IPhone to add an American passport which can be used instead of a physical passport for domestic trips.
Digital ID can be stored on iphone or on Apple Watch, and can be used at certain ASD control points across the United States. It is real in accordance with the identification, because a passport can be presented instead of a real ID when you travel.
Digital IDs do not replace physical passports, and Apple warns that they cannot be used for international trips or on board. In these situations, a physical passport will be necessary, but for domestic trips, users need to withdraw a passport and can rather go through the TSA control points faster.
As with driving licenses and state identifiers, digital identifiers will operate for age and identity verification in applications, retail places and retail websites.
Improved boarding pass
Boarding passes for flights stored in the portfolio application can display more information in ios 26. You will see cards that will help you navigate at the airport and an option to access find my items to follow my items, report missing bags, and more using the integration features of the find My airline.
Live activities support
Boarding goes into the portfolio application, support live activities, offering real -time updates on a flight. Flight information will be displayed on the lock screen and on the dynamic island, as well as live activity for a flight can be shared with other people.
Credit card information
The Wallet application settings now include a “Autofill” section where you can display and store the complete details of the credit card such as the card number, the expiration date and the security code.
Advertising commands
Apple added an option to deactivate the offers and promotions sent via the Wallet application, so that you can deactivate advertisements such as the F1 offer for which Apple has received criticism.
To deactivate the ads, open the Wallet application and press the three points in the upper right corner. From there, switch to the offers and promotions button.
