Apple has published its second beta iOS 26 version with developers, and the latest update tackles several user complaints associated with the new liquid glass design.
There is a more pronounced blur option for the control center, which regulates the new liquid glass effect. The background uses a darker shade and adds more blur to help readability.

The reduction transparency option in the accessibility menu is also made up of a few notches and facilitates reading menu and icons.

Safari obtains a new repositioned tab button (“+”), which is now located in the lower left corner next to the URL box. The Wallet application now offers support for tracking packages. Siri can scan your emails and find tracking numbers.

Apple also widened App Store ads with a dedicated accessibility section. Other new features in iOS 26 include a new “Alt 1” ringtone and a new live radio widget in Apple Music.

Apple should now launch its public beta version iOS 26 next month while the final version of consumption will drop later this fall.
