IOS 26 beta launch of this week? Here is what iPhone users should know

Apple is preparing to deploy the public beta version of its long -awaited iOS 26 from this week, according to Bloomberg’s technological journalist Mark Gurman. In his latest Poweron newsletter, Gurman noted: “All the indications are that iOS 26 should enter the public beta phase the coming week.” He also recognized the slightly delayed calendar: “This generally occurs by mid-July, so the software is a little later than usual.”

Unlike previous years, where public beta generally align with the third beta developer, Gurman said that this year’s public release could coincide with the fourth beta developer because of the major updates of the system. “Since iOS 26 is such an important design overhaul, it is logical that Apple wants to take a little extra time to do things well,” he said.
