Apple released iOS 26 On Monday, a few months after the company announced it at the World Developer Conference in June. The update has a handful of new features to your iPhone, as calls,, New ringtones And more. And the biggest change iOS 26 brings to your device is a new liquid glass design.
Liquid Glass is the largest visual update that Apple has brought to your iPhone since the publication of iOS 7 in 2013.
Some people have been torn apart when Apple has published the IOS 26 developer beta 26. Apple changed the design during the beta iOS 26 process to improve readability by adding more than one frosted look, but you may not be satisfied with the new design. Fortunately, you can adjust the design of the liquid glass in a few steps, considerably reducing its transparency.
Here is how to make the liquid glass design in iOS 26 more readable.

How to adjust the liquid glass
1 and 1 Open Parameters.
2 Faucet Accessibility.
3 and 3 Faucet Text display and size.
4 Press the rocking for Reduce transparency.
This will darken all menus or elements affected by the design of liquid glass, including in applications such as messages and your control center.
On the left, we see the design of liquid glass in its full effect, and on the right, the reduction transparency adjustment has been activated.
In the Text display and size menu, you can also press the switch next to Increase the contrast To help distinguish liquid glass elements. When I allowed this rocking, it gave many of these elements a white outline.
Increase the contrast adds contours to the elements of your iPhone.
If you want to use the Clear App Icon option, I would not recommend activating transparency reduction or increasing the contrast. I really like clear icons because it guarantees that your background is the main objective, but the icons are always visible enough to distinguish each. When these other options are activated, it is as if the icons occupied the front of the stage.
Liquid glass without alterations (on the left), liquid glass with reduction in activated transparency (center-left), liquid glass with an activated increase (center-right) and liquid glass with reduction in transparency and increase the activated contrast (right).
If you want to bring back the liquid glass design elements to your device, follow the steps above again to deactivate Reduce transparency.
