I am very excited by updating the design on the scale of the platform and some functional modifications of the iPados, in particular this targeting a more macOS makeover for iPad software.
Of course, analysts will highly monitor Apple’s next movements with AI, but it seems that some of the most dramatic characteristics have been pushed next year. Apple can afford some of these delays, as long as the company serves enough significant updates to its user base. Apple will not be exactly dry on AI, however.
The chatter on the opening of its models of small languages to the developers has aroused a lot of excitement in the community of application manufacturers, and a certain caution. Before the event, however, Bloomberg Threw a certain light on what we can expect from the advertisement of the company next week, and it seems that iOS 26 hinders the spotlight this time by emphasizing the basic internal experiences.

Phone

This is a huge jump, especially for multilingual users. For a huge part of iPhone buyers on non -Western markets, cat applications are home to English and several local languages. I take care of messages sent at least three languages daily.
With the live translation entering the image, it would be extremely practical to visualize the translated version without the hassles of switching to a translation application. I hope that Apple also adds a vocal translation installation to the whole battery, instead of focusing only on the texts.
Shortcut
The iPhone shortcut application is a powerful tool for configuring automation and routines. There is a whole community of ardent fans that build innovative shortcuts and publicly share them as iCloud links.
But for an average user of the iPhone, the creation of these shortcuts is not an easy task due to the complicated workflow. Apple should introduce an improved version of the shortcut application that will use AI models.
“The new version will allow consumers to create these actions using Apple Intelligence models,” says a Bloomberg report. I am not entirely sure, but if there is a text-Rorte-Rorte approach involved, this would make the exercise for users a lot.
Imagine to tell Siri something like, “Create a shortcut that automatically converts the selected images to PDF and send it to email.” Apple should open its internal intermediary models to developers for integration into their applications, which could ultimately help users easily create crossed shortcuts.
I am very excited for this overhaul, and I hope that Apple creates something like the “Applications” system that Google offers on Android phones, which allows gemini to manage tasks on applications using controls in natural language.
