“For years, we have helped organizations to do more with mobile by focusing on the best work platform: Apple,” said Henry Patel, strategy director at Jamf. “By adding Basic Android registrations to Jamf for Mobile, we allow Apple -ST -family organizations to eliminate friction – so some Android devices are not providing exceptional apple experiences on a large scale.”
Patel stressed that the upcoming Android support should be considered a positive additive to the existing Apple Focus of the company, rather than reflecting any Dégel ardor for the company’s computer platforms. “This addition helps us to support customers who mainly use Apple, but who also have a little Android in their environment-without forcing them in a single UEM platform,” he said.
I expect Jamf to want to approach this challenge with his customary state of mind “consumer simple”, intentionally ensuring that Android support alongside Apple does not create additional friction and is convincingly to use. “Jamf’s commitment to Apple remains unshakable,” he added.
