Samsung Galaxy devices with Android 16 – the full list
Samsung began the stable deployment of one UI 8, based on Android 16, on September 15, 2025. The update now takes place to the Galaxy S25 series in the world, and is also available in the box on Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Galaxy S25 Fe and the Galaxy Tab S11 series.

Galaxy S devices with Android 16
Beginning things in September, Samsung deploys Android 16 to the Galaxy S25 series worldwide. This includes the four devices, and the new Galaxy S25 Fe is shipped with an IU 8 out of the box. Other Galaxy devices will follow in October.

Rollable Galaxy with Android 16
The Samsung and Flip 7 Galaxy Z Fold 7 are currently the only foldable Galaxy with Android 16, with an IU 8 being preinstalled on both. Other Galaxy foldables will follow in October and November according to the current Samsung calendar.

The new Galaxy Tab S11 series is shipped with Android 16 out of the box, with the defined update to extend to other Galaxy tablets in the coming months.

Samsung Android 16 update
Samsung has confirmed dozens of Galaxy devices that will get Android 16 in the coming months, but a conclusive calendar is not yet available. We will continue to update the above list as the updates deploy, and we will also note the moment when the deployment has started in the calendar below. In the current state of things today, Samsung has only mentioned Galaxy devices that will be updated in October and November, but we will add additional dates as they are available.
