The United States has renewed sanctions for the exchange of Russian cryptocurrency Guarantx, accusing him of helping ransomware groups and other cybercriminals whiten dirty money.
The Treasury Department for the first time sanctioned Guarantx in 2022. He now added the successor to the Grinene platform, three executives and six companies affiliated in Russia and Kirghizetan to the list.
