Pixel emergency call, camera fixes

The latest Android 16 QPR1 update is rolling out with the November security patch for the 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold, 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. This release comes with an out-of-cycle feature removal.

There are 2 security issues fixed in Android 16 November Patch dated 01/11/2025. Vulnerabilities range from high to critical.

All devices get improvements to charging and battery usage, as well as a fix for “instability and intermittent issues with the emergency call functionality under certain conditions.” Apps not loading “under certain conditions” have also been fixed.

Google also fixed audio jitter and performance slowdowns on Pixel 8 and later.

The Pixel 9 and 10 series also get a fix for a rainbow-like color pattern when using the ultra-wide or telephoto lenses.
