After the stable deployment of Android 16 Google in June and several beta, Samsung finally publishes its first android 16 stable update with a User interface 8 now being deployed for Galaxy S25 owners.
Samsung launched an 8 user interface in beta in July, and has since launched the stable version on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Fold 7, with a current beta program for many other devices. To date, however, the first stable updates are now deployed.
As indicated by Sammyguru And others, the Galaxy S25 series now receives a stable update from the 8 -based user interface based on Android 16. The update takes place starting in Korea, but should extend to other regions in a few days. Until now, the update takes place for those who were previously enrolled in the beta version. Our Damien Wilde has also confirmed that the update takes place in its ultra Galaxy S25 in the United Kingdom, which means that the global deployment may have already started in certain regions.
The update takes place at the complete series of Galaxy S25 as Samobile underlines, in particular:
- Galaxy S25
- Galaxy S25 +
- Galaxy S25 Ultra
- Galaxy S25 Edge
According to a recent calendar that has disclosed, the global deployment could start next week, with the devices and folds of the Galaxy S24 series which should follow closely. The deployment should however continue at least November.
