According to the web, the Gemini application on Android and iOS has deployed the overhaul of the “tools” of the fast bar and suggestions in recent days.
Google deleted the autonomous chips and the three -point button to the right of Gemini’s “Plus” menu. Some devices had two items, but others just had a pill and the overflow menu.
It is replaced by a “Tools” menu (on Android, you simply get the icon that corresponds to the information button on the Chrome site) with a compact sheet that deletes icons and descriptions. By tapping, there is a haptic vibration.

- Guided learning
On mobile, this approach looks cleaner and reduces the possibility of accidental valves. Google tests another design for the quick bar which completely removes the rounded rectangle and ends up matching the AI search mode.
Old vs new
The other change is a series of prompts suggested to create an image, write, build, search in depth and create a video under the “Hello” greeting. Compared to before, this is always visible, whatever the amount of Gemini. The tapping shows four suggested prompts, the list disappearing when you type.
After starting to appear for beta users in recent weeks, this overhaul of Gemini tools is now widely deployed with the stable app app on Android, And iOS.
This deployment follows Google adding the navigation drawer and research, as well as the update of the superposition, on Android.
