The iOS 26 ‘liquid Glass’ user interface obtains a functionality on the Apple event, OS Repamp is to come


The next WWDC 2025 would give the world a massive overview of its next major overhaul of the iPhone operating system which is now called “iOS 26”. This specific version of the operating system will provide a new look for users, with the “Liquid Glass” user interface, similar to what is seen on Visionos.

The next versions of this year’s operating system would have a recasting on its various systems and platforms to present the Unified Visionos look, with new elements appearing on its ecosystem, in particular for iPhones.

According to a new report by Mark Gurman via Bloomberg Power on NewsletterApple will preview the modifications to come to iOS 16 at WWDC 2025, with the user interface “Liquid Glass” to be introduced formally into the world. It is the same look and the same elements as the users of the pro vision use and already appreciate more than a year via Visionos.

This new liquid glass user interface will deliver the semi-transparent, alias translucent, will consult applications and windows on the different aspects of iOS, and it will apply to messages, camera, phone, safari, etc.

In addition, there will be a new “flair” to the iOS experience with this upgrade, because Apple will focus on important protruding facts of various experiences that would complete this “glass” would look like what users have appreciated on the pro vision.

The new iPhone look: Visionos influences iOS

The experience of the iPhone will have a new look thanks to the influence of the iOS visionos in this massive Apple overhaul, and not only it applies to smartphones, but through its apparatus ecosystem. Recently, there was also a report which deployed a list of the compatibility list of iOS 26 when it arrived in September for publication in accordance with expectations, with several iPhones no longer receiving the next generation operating system. There are two ranges from the Apple Smartphone series which will no longer be supported by iOS 26 according to rumors, with the iPhone XR and the iPhone XS range (iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max).

The previous rumors according to which the features coming on iOS 19 should also arrive in the newly named iOS 26, focusing more Apple AP functionalities as a battery management tool and more. That said, the biggest change in this version of the operating system is that Visionos seems to come on iOS, with a unified look through the upcoming ecosystem this WWDC 2025.
