At WWDC25, Apple has introduced some new capacities to the photo application for iOS 26. In particular, it reintroduces a tab bar arrangement after the controversial overhaul of last year’s page. It also allows you to create space scenes from existing photos.
In addition to these features at the head of the poster, there is another underlying feature in the Photos Application for iOS 26 that many users could appreciate, and it is the details of the event. Let’s explain.
With iOS 26, if you went to a concert, a sporting event or a kind of major event – the Photos Application will be able to recognize this and group your photos as such. In addition, he can give you an overview of the event. If you are at a concert – this will give you the list of sets, the artists who have played, the place, the related reading lists and the upcoming concerts. For sporting events, it will show you a dashboard, the place and the events to come.
The photos that have recognized the events will have a special ticket button instead of the typical information button, and once you press it, you can access the panel of the new illustrated events below.
