Apple announced many new features during its recent World Wide Developers conference, but it seems that there were innovations that did not appear during the event. A new report says they are on the way.

The new iOS 26 iPhone software is currently in its second developer Beta Beta, with the first public version of next month and the general version expected in September with the iPhone 17 series.
In his last Rise Newsletter, Mark Gurman de Bloomberg spoke about new secret features that Apple has not yet spoken. It refers to two: the live translation for AirPods and a new careful Wi-Fi feature.
“At WWDC, Apple took care not to announce anything that was not close to the shipment (either in the first version of iOS 26, or an update shortly after). The company did not want to risk repeating the WWDC 2024, where it announced several features – including a line technology – which was ultimately delayed by months or which was to arrive,” said Gurman.
By “still to arrive”, it mainly means the new Siri who was titled last year, who exploits what the iPhone knows about you to provide much more personal help. It looked incredible and led to an advertisement (drawn later) showing how it could help, but he has not yet landed.
Apple said that the entire WWDC 2024 event, only four minutes of functionalities have not yet arrived.
It should also be noted that even if it is true that Apple has not yet delivered this feature, no other company has almost launched something similar.
“There are at least two capacities that have not been announced at WWDC that I expect to come this year: live translation of conversations via Airpods and the possibility of synchronizing your wireless network connection information in a hotel or gymnasium between the aircraft. I reported the two features before WWDC,” continued Gurman.
You might be forgiven to think that the translation element has been announced: in fact, although there have been several translation features announced by Apple, that of the Airpods was not part of it.
As it has not yet been mentioned, it is possible that Apple does not speak of this feature before the launch of the iPhone 17 series in September – read this for exactly when.
The Wi-Fi function, which will be practical for anyone with several devices wishing to connect in a transparent way, has also passed under the radar, but, “there have also been clues related to the Wi-Fi function hidden in the IOS 26”, according to Gurman.
