The new iOS 19 functionality simplifies access to public Wi-Fi through the Apple ecosystem

Apple would add a new useful feature to iOS 19 which will allow Wi-Fi public connection information to synchronize on all devices signed in the same Apple ID. According to Mark Gurman de Bloomberg, this means that when a user connects to a network in a place like a hotel, a gymnasium or an office on a single device, identification information will be automatically shared with their other Apple devices, such as iPads and Macs – saving time and eliminating the need to manually reconnect on each.

The next Wi-Fi public synchronization function in iOS 19 is designed to improve the daily convenience of users who often connect to shared networks. This is part of a wider set of refinements expected in the update, which should offer a daring visual overhaul inspired by Visionos – the operating system behind the Apple Pro Vision helmet. IOS 19 can introduce more fluid animations, redesigned icons and translucent interface elements, signaling a fresh and modernized look for the experience of the iPhone.

Apple would target a more unified and more dynamic design language through its ecosystem with iOS 19, introducing subtle layout improvements in basic applications such as messages and camera, as well as user interface elements that respond to the inclination of the device for more interactive experience. The update can also bring the stage manager to the iPhone for the first time, allowing multitasking with several application windows when connected to an external display, in particular on models with USB -C ports – offering a configuration of the desk type similar to Dex de Samsung.

One of the remarkable features expected in iOS 19 is the translation of language in real time via Airpods, which would allow users to engage in live multilingual conversations with translations delivered directly into their ears via the translate application of the iPhone.

However, not all iPhones will support the update – Apple would have deleted the management of the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max, limiting compatibility to new models from the iPhone 12 Mini. IOS 19 should be officially unveiled at WWDC in June, followed by a public beta version in July and a stable release alongside the iPhone 16 range in September.
