Newpipe is an open source YouTube application for Android and now has Android Auto support.
Newpipe’s idea is to offer a light alternative to the standard Android application, and also has integration with Soundcloud and Bandcamp. This makes it a great option to listen to music and podcasts from several platforms.
In the newpipe 0.28.0 update published at the end of last month, the Android Auto support arrived. This additional support allows users to broadcast music from Youtube, Soundcloud and Bandcamp from the screen of their car. The application supports access to game lights as well as your listening history,
Newpipe explains:

Development on this addition has started in 2022 and has been underway since, but it is now only available for all users. In particular, however, Newpipe is only available For the coast, rather than being distributed in the play store, the same goes for that that at your own risk.
