No iOS 19: Apple goes directly to iOS 26
Here is a shocking rumor less than two weeks ahead of WWDC: Apple will revise the numbering agreement he uses for its various operating systems, unifying them all under a brand “26” to represent the coming year, as well as the way in which car manufacturers generally publish their new years of late model of the previous year.
So say goodbye to what we thought we were going to be iOS 19, iPados 19, MacOS 16, TVOS 19, Watchos 12 and Visionos 3, because it seems that they will all be numbered “26.”
iPhone 17 pro launch later this year with these 12 new features
Apple’s iPhone Pro models are generally the highest point of the September outing cycle, and although they will have competition this year from the new “iPhone 17 Air” ultra-thin, we are still expecting very notable changes for Apple’s most expensive iPhone models.
Consult our overview of a dozen important changes that we expect in the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, including visual changes that will immediately make it obvious if you have the latest Apple iPhone model.
Looking further, a source says that Apple tested a 200 megapixel camera sensor for the iPhone. This would probably appear for the first time as the main camera of iPhone Pro models, but it’s probably a year or two.
Whatsapp for iPad now available
Incredibly, one of the largest news of the week was the launch of an optimized iPad version of WhatsApp, more than 15 years after the start of the email service. WhatsApp was launching the launch early this week and published the application one day later.
With WhatsApp now available for iPad, attention is now on the other major Meta application that always lacks a native iPad application, Instagram.
Apple draws certain features from the smart house robot of rumors
The rumor that the Apple Smart Home table robot has been the subject of intriguing rumors in recent years, but BloombergMark Gurman says that Apple draws some of the “more daring features” planned to put it on the market faster. Unpertified features may appear in subsequent models.
The table robot would have an iPad type screen on a robotic arm that can adapt to stay for a person moving in the room, and it could respond to vocal controls.
The rumor says that the robot would follow a simpler intelligent house center which, according to Gurman, could launch “by the end of this year at the earliest”.
Report: Apple planned to offer a Home Internet service in the form of a starlink
Ten years ago, Apple would have explored to work with Boeing to launch a starlink type satellite internet service for phones and houses, according to Information. Companies have launched thousands of satellites orbit around the earth to transmit Internet services to the surface.
The project was finally rejected on the concerns related to the cost and the relationship of Apple with operators, and the company has finally teamed up with Globalstar on satellite services much more modest than Apple currently offers on recent iPhone models. This week, Apple has expanded messages and finds my satellite via in Mexico, joining existing coverage in the United States and Canada, even if the company would have weighed if it is worth offering the features because the carriers have started to present their own satellite services.
The iOS 18 leak reveals MacBook Prosted Apple with an ultra m3 chip
Although the Apple’s most high -end M3 M3 chip is currently limited to Mac Studio, it seems that Apple has also tested the chip in the MacBook Pro.
A user on the Chinese social media platform Bilibili claims to have found code references to 14-inch and 16-inch unpublished 16-inch models with the M3 Ultra chip in an internal building of iOS 18 operating on an iPhone 16 engineering prototype. Apple of course has not finally published M3 Ultra Macbook Pro, potentially on thermal and / or electric concerns, but it is interesting to see apparently tested the chip in this form factor.
Sony’s new WH-1000XM6 Helpius against Airpods Max
Sony has recently been released with a new set of noise headphones higher than the ear, so we thought we would compare them to the AirPods Max to see how Sony headphones in 2025 are up to Apple headphones that have not seen a significant update since their launch in 2020.
In one of our latest YouTube videos, Dan takes a look at the two headphones, noting that if the AirPods Max offer key advantages for the Apple ecosystem, the latest Sony headphones offer a more comfortable adjustment and a better global package.
