WhatsApp deploys an interesting feature via its new iOS update to generate profile photos and group icons powered by AI after its provision of Android users.
The messaging application said it announced an Android update regarding the availability of functionality on general profile photos powered by AI.
This feature allows users to create unique profile images by simply entering a text prompt that describes their desired image, according to Wabetainfo.
Unlike traditional profile photo options, this feature was not based on existing photos but rather generates personalized images according to user descriptions, he says.
The functionality will bring new possibilities of personal expression, giving users the possibility of creating avatars, artistic illustrations or thematic visuals which reflect their personality or their mood.
It seems that WhatsApp intends to offer iOS users the same tool powered by AI as for the Android version, aimed at providing a coherent experience on the two platforms.
