Although Meta hasn’t announced it yet, some WhatsApp users are already seeing the revamped interface adopting Apple’s new Liquid Glass design language. This is what it looks like.
This week, WhatsApp rolled out an update to iOS that supports Live Photos, as well as on-device translation of text messages.
For some users, however, the update also brought compatibility with Liquid Glass, with the tab bar being its most notable change.

As note by WABetaInfoThis may be a limited test carried out by Meta, before a wider rollout. The company started experimenting with Liquid Glass support in the WhatsApp beta last month, and now some public version users are reportedly getting it too.
Due to its massive global user base, WhatsApp tends to roll out major changes very slowly compared to other platforms.
In its release notes, WhatsApp typically notes that some of its new features may take weeks to reach everyone. So if you don’t have access to the Liquid Glass interface yet, wait a few days, as it should appear soon.
