After announcing the Beta UI 8 program in May, Samsung has now announced its intention to extend the beta program to more devices through Galaxy A, Galaxy S and Galaxy Z Series. Once Samsung has completed the new version of a user interface, it will publish the stable version of the software to all compatible galaxy phones and tablets.
Stable One UI 8 Update
Next week, the Beta UI 8 update will be published in the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 in four countries. Then, in September, the Galaxy A, Galaxy S and Galaxy Z devices will obtain beta software. Samsung will then publish the stable version of One UI 8 before the end of September 2025. The first aircraft to obtain the Stable UI 8 update will probably be the phones of the Galaxy S25 series.
All compatible galaxy phones and tablets will likely receive the stable UI 8 update before the end of this year. Samsung worked with Google and adopted its trunk development model to provide a User interface 8 earlier in the year than previous user interface versions.
According to a recent report, Samsung will now publish its new major user interface software with its new foldable phones in the Galaxy Z series in the middle of the year and updates to the version of the minor user interface with adding major features earlier in the year with telephones in the Galaxy S series.
What’s new with an IU 8?
Since an IU 7 has brought a major user interface overhaul, an IU 8 does not bring a lot of changes to the design of the user interface. It offers an easier design to understand for a quick part. It also allows more alarm, calendar and recall management features. The modes and routines obtain new actions and conditions, while multitasking lovers obtain the new improved divided screen mode and Dex improvements (based on the Android 16 desktop mode).
The Camera application obtains a new gestural customization option, while the telephone application obtains improved profile cards. The CONTACTS application can display saved calls related to special contact. The secure file has also been improved in terms of security.
