With a brand new design language that should be launched today, we are wondering if the next generation of iOS could be the biggest visual refreshment since 2013. It was then that iOS 7, which announced an Apple flat design embrace, hit the iPhone. But with liquid and glass textures that would make themselves happen today, things may finally curl – to the skeuomorphism.
The former Apple Quicktime Dev Maynard Handley has strong words for Apple in response to the predictions of Ming-Chi Kuo, and reminds us what WWDC is supposed to be.
“This is a developer conference! The most important thing that counts is an AI assistant in Xcode who can analyze and write Swift. If they have this, other things can wait a year, they are at least in the game. If they don’t have that, it’s time to conclude that they simply do not understand the issues. And expect a big drama at the next meeting of the Board of Directors.”
On X, an ordinary Apple timetment Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that despite the Roll Criticized, the Apple AI strategy will occupy the stage of the WWDC today, with updates to the user interface and the operating system playing only a secondary role.
He suggests that there will be no big announcements in this area, but that Apple will clearly focus on how its AI functionalities work and clarifying its development chronology. And he suggests that this could include Rebranding Apple Intelligence and Siri and the integration of AI in the operating system to improve the user experience.

Severance fans hope that WWDC could tease something on the next step in terms of Apple TV’s biggest draw. It is too early to expect a teaser of the Season 3 seed, but I would not be surprised if we obtained a kind of confirmation that the shooting has started or will start soon.
There are only three hours left before the link. Like in recent years, we have been expecting it to be a mixture of pre-recorded segments rather than a All-Live event. You can watch in the video above from 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. in the United Kingdom. We will publish on the context and the answers throughout.

For iPados 26, an intriguing functionality that we hope to hear about at WWDC is the Calligraphy of Apple Pencil.
A galam, or a reed pen, is a traditional Arabic writing tool used in calligraphy to create vascular accidents in service that vary in thickness. The rumor says that Apple will introduce new software that will take advantage of Apple Cray Pro, such as its compression gestures, its barrel roll detection and its haptic feedback, to create a digital equivalent.
Apple’s main objective would be to support expansion in countries like the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, but it looks like something that could be popular with calligraphy artists everywhere.

We mentioned rumors on an expected iOS design inspired by visionos. We will surely also see news on Visionos herself at WWDC.
It has been suggested that Visionos 3, or Visionos 26, will add a new scrolling functionality for Vision Pro, which will use integrated eye tracking features. It looks like a logical extension of the existing mechanism that allows navigation by looking at something on the screen, then freezing with your hand to type it.
To return to the game, we recently learned that Apple’s Vision Pro team is working on a visionos plugin for Godot Engine in order to reduce the barrier to the development of XR games for the device.
Apple Game Center on MacBook, iPad and iPhone (Image credit: Apple)
A rumor that went around last month is that WWDC 2025 will see the announcement of a new Apple game application. Mark Gurman de Bloomberg claims that the application would work on the Apple ecosystem – therefore iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV – replacing the dated game center (above) as a central center for the game with a window, protruding facts, rankings, achievements and multiplayer options and integration of Apple Arcade subscription service.
It seems that it would be inspired by Microsoft’s approach with Xbox, and Apple would also have planned to connect the application with FaceTime and Imessage. Although the application is not published in September, it was noted how close the timing would be close to the launch of Nintendo of the new switch (see our opinion Switch 2 Just in).
Of course, we can probably expect another name inspired by California for the next iteration of MacOS. The previous names have included Big on, Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma and Sequoia, and this year, Apple would have called the new macos “Tahoe”, after Lake Tahoe of course.

We can probably expect software updates to AirPods, with new camera checks that would face Apple’s headphones. But what I really live is if we will never see these rumor teeth controls.

Fans have looked for clues to the future of Apple’s iOS design language in beta updates in the past year, but this could be one of the most legitimate examples we have seen …

As for what iOS 26 could look like, the rumor wants us to reserve an overhaul inspired by visionos. Think of a transparent object and glass textures, and perhaps even circular icons.

What comes after iOS 18? Perhaps not iOS 19. If we believe the rumors, Apple could move on to a denomination agreement based on the year this year. But is it enough for the iPhone to feel exciting again after the disappointing launch iOS 16 of last year?

While Apple Intelligence was launched with a fanfare last year, the whole thing turned out to be rather embarrassing for the company, with features, including SIRI upgrades long since long expected. The situation is apparently so disastrous that it causes an internal tension to Apple.
Hello and welcome to the annual blog live from the WWDC of Creative Bloq! And what could be better to launch things than the bingo wwdc, created with love like never by Apple guy.
