The iPhone clock application is one of the slowest moving applications on the iPhone. He gets less love and attention than even the telephone application. Although there are many new and interesting alarm applications, Apple’s default offer remains fairly basic and not very customizable.
With iOS 26, Apple provides personalization to a highly requested feature. You can finally get out of the snooze prison. Until now, the duration of rehearsal of alarms has been defined over nine minutes, and you could not adjust it. It was either nine minutes or nothing.
Personally, I like to sleep with an increments of five minutes. So I circumvented this by defining six different alarms, all of five minutes, to help me get up in the morning. But now I can finally put this chaos aside.
Snooze as you wish

In iOS 26, who is currently in the beta developer (and will soon be as a beta public preview), you can now define the rehearsal time to last between a minute (if you really want to get bored), and 15 minutes (if time is only a philosophical construction for you). Finally, I can adjust my rehearsal on this ideal point of five minutes.
Unfortunately, these modifications are on a basis by alarm, so you will have to personalize your snooze each time you define a new alarm. I hope, however, that I will not have to define as many alarms now as before.
To customize your rehearsal period in iOS 26, open the clock application, access the Alarms tab, and press the More icon to create a new alarm. Or, you can press an alarm you already have.
What do you think so far?
Then press the Rehearsal Option and choose any duration between one and 15 minutes. Press the Do Check at the top to save the new alarm.
The next time the alarm is triggered, you will see a new alarm screen, with two just as large and beautiful buttons to repeat and stop. In previous versions of the application, you would only see a rehearsal button in the middle and a small stop button below.
And hey, if you are a little hardcore, like my colleague Pranay, you can also completely deactivate the rehearsal button.
