Alec and Hilaria Baldwin will share their family life in a reality TV show | Reality show

Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have announced a new TLC reality show about their family life.

The 66-year-old actor, whose films include Beetlejuice and Glengarry Glen Ross, shared a video on Instagram with his seven children.

“We invite you into our home to experience the ups and downs; the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” he says. “Home is the place we love to be the most.”

The show, which has the working title The Baldwins, is set to premiere next year on the same network that is home to hits such as 90 Day Fiancé, Dr. Pimple Popper and MILF Manor.

“Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have been making headlines since their marriage nearly 12 years ago,” read a statement from TLC. “In this TLC follow-up series, Alec and Hilaria invite viewers into the home they share with their seven growing children. For the first time, they open up their family life and invite everyone to join in the love, laughter and non-stop drama.

The couple met in 2011 and married in 2012. They have since had seven children, with the youngest born in 2023.

The announcement comes as Baldwin awaits trial in July on manslaughter charges following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins after an accidental shooting on the set of the western Rust. He faces up to 18 months in prison and has denied any wrongdoing.

Production on the film resumed in 2023 with an expected release this year.

In November 2023, People discovered through a source that the couple was hosting a show that would give “an authentic portrait of who they are as a family.”

“It’s all about my family,” Alec said. “I really tried in the last few years, once we had five, then six, then seven kids. I can’t go anywhere for a while.

In 2007, an angry voicemail message sent by him to his 11-year-old daughter Ireland from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger attracted media attention. In the footage, he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig.” He later apologized, saying he had been “pushed over the edge by parental alienation.”

In 2020, Hilaria was slammed by critics claiming she was faking her Spanish heritage after clips of her speaking with an accent went viral. Boston-born Hillary, 40, later claimed people had “misrepresented” her.
