BELTON – Carolyn Sue (Hill) Fleming BBorn January 3, 1939 in Muhlenberg County, she worked for Morris Beschloss of Rancho Mirage, California, for more than 56 years. She lived in the Hammond, Ind./Calumet City, Ill. area for nearly 40 years, before returning to Kentucky in 1992. She continued to work until shortly before her death and served as president of the Drakesboro Fun over Forty Club for several years. , and attended Riverside Church, his childhood church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Fleming; his parents, Oma and Connie Hill, who owned a small coal mine in Riverside before moving to Hammond, Indiana in the early 1950s; and six brothers, Connis, Harold, Arthur Lee, Jewel Howard, Charles Hugh and Carl Glendon Hill.

Survivors include his son, Eric Fleming of Griffith, Indiana; daughter, Paula (Joe) Rodrigues of Belton; as well as eight grandchildren: Branden Camp of Central City, Cullan Fleming of South Chicago Height, Illinois, Connor Fleming, of Greenville, Skylar Wulfe, of Phoenix, Arizona, Corrine Rae Camp of Indianapolis, Indiana, Rheanna (Tommy) Camp Firkus of Plover, Wisconsin, Jessica Fleming of Bremen and Lauren Lutes of Indianapolis, Indiana; is also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Brenna and Cayden; two sisters, Lois McElwain of Penrod and Janice Stover, of Drakesboro; a brother, Kenneth Wayne (Brenda) Hill of Drakesboro; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Brooks officiates. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home and Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
